Selena Gomez’s song Souvenir is about The Weeknd
It’s not uncommon for musicians to pen songs about their own love life. Time and again, singers have taken to lyrics to express love and heartbreak and this time its Selena Gomez, who’s released a strain that is mostly about her ex, Canadian singer The Weeknd. The Weekend and Selena dated for approximately 10 months in 2017, before she broke up with him reportedly because of Justin Bieber.

Selena released a few strains from her latest album, Rare. One song that caught her fans’ attention is Souvenir. The latest track from the album holds hidden messages that fans seem to have tied into The Weeknd. One of the lines that got fans thinking was, “New York back in August, tenth-floor balcony/Smoke is floating over Jane and Greenwich street."
